Paignton has some fantastic attractions for the holiday maker to see. There is always plenty to see and do what ever the weather. From walks alone the sands for the less energetic or take to the Coastal path for some spectacular scenery.
A minutes walk away from the hotel is Victoria Park. Just the place to take a stroll, see the wild life and walk among the gardens. Kids can play in the safe play park, whilst you relax and take in the scenery.

The home of Issac Singer (of the Sewing Machine) and his family. Now open to the public and used as 'Torbay's' Registry Office for Weddings. Splendid interior decor and wonderful gardens to stroll around.

The world at your finger tips. A great day out with plenty to see and do. Paignton Zoo is not just a Zoo, it is also well known for it Captive Breeding program and Conservation. Lots of the animals are now in open compounds with no bars so that you can see them as if you were in the wild.

Just the ticket, take a journey back in time alone the Paignton to Kingswear Railway, calling at Goodrington, Chuston and Kingswear. Pass over the Greenaway Viaduct and see the home of one of Devon's most famous residents Dame Agatha Christie. Take a round Robin Ticket and enjoy Train, Boat and Bus trip starting from Paignton to Kingswear (train) Dartmouth to Totnes (boat) returning to Paignton by Bus.

One of the few Privately owned Pier's left around our coasts. Admission is FREE with plenty to do when the weather is on the damp side. Or just stroll out to the end on a warm summer evening and take in the fresh sea air.
Paignton Beach
Only a minutes walk from the hotel is Paigntons main beach. Fun for all the family.
Just a short stroll from the hotel along the Sea Front will bring you to the quaint Picturesque Harbour. Here you will be able to take Boat trip around the Bay, to Dartmouth or for those who enjoy Deep Sea Fishing.
A place where time has stood still. Quaint little Thatched Cottages, local country pub (excellent food & beer), wonderful garden and wooded walks, Country Manor House, and if your lucky you can see the local cricket team at bat. Take a horse drawn carriage ride from the Sea Front to the Village. Great day out for one and all.

Explore the Harbour side with its two Harbour, cross the new Millennium Bridge to the Living Coast Attraction. Stroll among the shops and visit Fleet Walk shopping centre.

A whole village in miniature, with a lot of thing that will make you laugh. Great walk around the village with plenty to see.
Torre Abbey
Torre Abbey on Torquay's Sea Front is one of the oldest Manor houses in 'Torbay' and was once home to an Order of Franciscan Monks. In the ground is what is known as a Spanish Barn, and is said to be haunted by a lady looking for her sailor husband who died there from the Spanish Armada. The house houses so of 'Torbay's finest Arts and is home to the Agatha Christie Museum. A good visit will be had by one and all.
Take a stroll on Berry Head and take in the breather taking in the stunning views across the Bay and as far as Portland Bill on a clear day.

Exploring the English Riviera will lead you to the Fishing village of Brixham, with The Fish Quay is where the fishermen land their catch after spend weeks at sea.
Famous for its tors and breath taking sceenery, Dartmoor is well worth the drive. Attractions include Haytor, Burrator, the woodlands and waterfalls and many miles of unspoilt natural beauty.
